Second Thought

Second Thought was a musical project by Ross Baker, active between 1999 and 2011.  The music combined acoustic instrumentation, samples, field recordings and synths to create atmospheric music with hints of ambient, but always difficult to categorise.  Five albums were released: Purlieu, Vacuum Road Songs, Safernoc, Since Every Hour is Too Late and Leaf Pass, plus a handful of EPs and compilations, on labels such as FSOLDigital, Treetrunk, Jerky Oats and No-Source.

From 2012, Ross Baker has begun recording music under his own name and can be found at rossbakermusic.co.uk
