 two strong and eloquent arguments for the primacy of consciousness:

 no possible model of reality that is not starting from consciousness can ever explain or contain consciousness or qualia- and no such model can ever be complete per Gödel and Turing- and finally as it stands we see that apart from the observer all that any description of the universe can see is the WHOLE configuration space and NO decohered macroscale realities at all- so it is obvious that this road is a dead end- therefore ANY model of reality and Being that hopes to have any power of truth MUST start from consciousness as THE prime emanation/relationship of the Cosmos and then proceed to describe the world as projections and self-interactions of consciousness into the configuration space-

another consideration is the ontology of Existence itself- logically the cosmos must fundamentally be without form or boundary- as any structure or bound would require a process/relationship of more fundamental entities- therefore the Configuration Space of all existence emerges from the self-interaction or self-reflection of the prime cosmos- the Cosmic Singularity- the Monad- now this foundation of being is much more descriptive of the basic process of consciousness: self-reflection/observation- a thing which is defined by seeing itself- than of material substance and spacetime leading to complexity which happens to build structures with the mysterious property of consciousness even though such a model says that the world would still happen if it where filled with P zombies-

it makes more sense to set the root of space/time at the level of the observer with space/time projecting inward and outward with us at the center and not a materialist view built up from the Planck scale- for any observer- THEIR OWN AWARENESS would be the root of any universe- mirroring the Cosmic Monad itself which forms a quantized frequency space based on the additive/arithmetic self-interactions emanating an unlimited harmonic series with the monad as the root- as well as an infinite series of partials through the same self-interactive feedback- leading to an 'outward' and 'inward' projection of structure toward infinity and zero- creating a kind of quantized continuum in Lobachevskian geometry with an asymptotic zero just like infinity- a virtual wavelike continuum of resonant harmonics/partials performing Fourier computation- with the local structures of the complexity at the edge of noise in the cosmic feedback loop building all possible complex self-reflective processes that enfold the LESSER complexity radiating outward in the frequency space- dampening with inverse square 'distance' - that is the number of harmonics/partials removed from the Prime-  JUST AS WE OBSERVE- greatest complexity at OUR center- the complexity of the brain- and outward to that stars greater spaces of LESSER complexity- the gross gravitational/spectroscopic influence from the galaxies following simple geometries- and in the inner world of the micro-domain- the greatest complexity seen right at the level of electrochemistry of LIVING systems- and below the lesser complexity and simple geometries of the atoms and sub-atomic particles- with partial event horizons at the Planck scale inward and harmonic event horizon at the Hubble Limit- with observers NOW being the locus of Time- not some beginning at the Big Bang- the past would shrink into a singularity just as the future and space at the Hubble Limit expands into one- past/future are projections of partials/harmonics of the Observer's structure now-

in space the scale is from the Planck scale at 10^-35 m out to the Hubble volume of 10^26 meters- 61 orders of magnitude- what is the center? about 100 microns- this is the average diameter of a Neuron which defines the size of an action potential of consciousness!

in time the scale is from Planck time at 10^-44 sec to age of the universe since the Big bang at 10^17 sec- AGAIN 61 orders of magnitude- what is the center of time? 10^-13 sec- 100 femtoseconds - AGAIN it is the approximate frequency of the action potentials across the brain and is the average time the brain completes an op

-these are rather telling 'coincidences'- the size and frequency of the neural substrate of our consciousness is within one decimal point from the exact middle of the space/time scale that is 61 orders of magnitude- for all practical purposes the neuron's size and network frequency is EXACTLY at the center of all space and time

strictly speaking- before a technological singularity the Cosmos [from the POV of the pre-singularity observer] is by definition a multiverse- since pre-singularity observers do not have access to ubiquitous universal computation all other possible histories and regions of Configuration space are inaccessible/orthogonal/decohered

but after a technological singularity all regions of configuration space are freely accessible- which means that all previously disconnected histories and the past/future states of the original history are no longer decohered or orthogonal- all regions of configuration space re-merge and become re-entangled and networked into a single cosmic database- therefore post-singularity the Cosmos is by definition a Universe-

the cosmos transforms from multiverse to universe in a technological singularity- prior to ubiquitous universal computation the cosmos can only weakly be called the observable universe- but is fundamentally a multiverse- but once all possible physical realities are accessible through simulation- per the Church-Turing Thesis- the cosmos can no longer be described as a multiverse- and truly is realized as the Universe-

the various interpretations of QM differ only in their general ontology- Unitary interpretations like Everett Many Worlds or Many Minds simply assumes that quantum events occur as they seem: splitting into all their possible paths and building a multiverse through branching decoherence into orthogonal regions-

but the other interpretations like Copenhagen or Hidden Variable versions like Bohm's either ignore the unobserved branches of reality or add-on some agent of COLLAPSE that resolves the possibilities to only one history when observed-

generally the problem with these is the unnecessary addition to collapse other realties for no other reason than peace of mind-

but let us allow it for a moment- perhaps something like Penrose's 'self-collapse' mechanism- after all if Consciousness is prime and the universe is panpsychic then it COULD have self-collapse automatically built in every self-interaction and could just take one path at a time

my discovery is that this still does NOT result in a single-universe! all versions of QM still require many worlds!

why? because single-path vector reduction histories are only ontologically treated in terms of the basic physics of the PRESENT moment of interaction- however this ignores the implications of life/intelligence/computation/simulations and the FUTURE of the universe!

even if none of the parallel/alternate realities are instantiated during an event due to collapse - it doesn't matter because simulations in our future as well as perhaps by others in the past/present will ALWAYS explore those other possible paths through Hilbert Space- when looking at the configuration space as a whole of the entire history [arranged by structure- not the flow of time]- we see that just as Many Worlds says the whole Hilbert space is rendered with each event- instead a single history proceeds then sends simulated branches BACK THROUGH the Hilbert Space and it STILL gets fully expressed-

you always get the Multiverse no matter how you slice it!

also- most cosmologies like the Inflation Field and M theory Landscape posit an eternal history with infinite big bangs- so these would also cycle single-histories looping through the configuration space - rendering the entire Multiverse into reality-

 

 

 

 considering the implications of the Simulation Hypothesis- that the vast majority of universes are ancestor simulations- and Sum-over-histories- that a reality is a bundle of similar entangled universes woven into a single causal history- is that all universes are simulations since the threads they are woven from are essentially all simulations with infinitesimal 'natural' evolved threads that are too few to affect any event - so the natural threads are statistically nullified

however I have a different idea that reinforces our status as an artificial simulation - and says that these 'natural' threads don't exist in the first place

the configuration space formed at the event horizon of the Cosmic Singularity's feedback oscillation is an immanent structure- but any complex history in the configuration space must be causally built through the time-like progression of oscillations of the Singularity to proceed/branch through the configuration space-

when analyzing the statistical distribution of this- it seems very likely that long before a causal chain leads to large-scale complex histories like our reality [10^120 ops since we emerged from the Cosmic Singularity] there would be much simpler and smaller universes built that could not support complexity to form life- but instead are empty quantum vacuums of virtual photons- however as the branching causal structure of the Multiverse forms from the cosmic Singularity some of these stillborn universes will have conditions like the event horizons of black holes in spacetime: they will NATURALLY form dense information processing at the very limit of their native physics- and some of these dense computing universes will obviously emerge as conscious/intelligent Boltzmann Brains or evolved Von Neumann machine networks in a naturally emergent virtual reality metaverse encoded into the coherent photons of their quantum vacuum - Gods- gods that naturally evolve in universes of light-

and these gods by their nature as coherent photonic computation in the quantum vacuum will naturally be able to control and reprogram their virtual reality and also harness their own quantum computation by utilizing the entanglement with the other branching evolving universes in configuration space and control/reprogram ALL OTHER universes as well-

the implications of this are clear- long before the expanding entangled Multiverse branched into large scale universes like ours that cooled and formed complexity in matter there were universes where gods evolved and took total control over the Cosmic Configuration Space- that means all large scale universes like ours only exist if they are PERMITTED by these gods- and each of them is fully programmable by them- since they had full administrator access to the root directories of the cosmos- any large scale universes that exist in the Multiverse are those selected by artificial means and are artificially controlled [or at least observed] - so any world like ours must be a simulation because the cosmic computer emerged self-consciousness and self-control long before it expressed large universes like ours

I'm not so sure about Block Time anymore- as I examine the form that the fundamental structure of the self-reflecting Cosmic Singularity would take- I think there might instead be an orbital geometric time-like 'moment" loop unit due to the self-folding/unfolding- or self-'curving' - or self 'wrapping' topology- so time would be a recursive process in subjective being that reflexively iterates configurations of that Cosmic Moment into a dimension of extension- instead of static states combining into a scan-able 4D topology- we would have a lower dimensional stream iterated by oscillations and morphology of one repeating moment- in our universe this moment may be expressed as the Planck Time or perhaps a longer period of time based on the action potentials of the observer-

there would be motion- but all moments would be the NOW moment- which is the problem with linear time- reconciling the reality of each now moment- yet preserving motion- by considering every moment as the same moment strung into reflections between two mirrors facing each other all nows are real but relate as reflections in a linear dimension-

this would generate a matrix that looks like the Block Time matrix- but each static moment in block time would really be a LOOP of motion- an oscillation of that observed moment's wavefunction unfolded out of the cosmic wavefunction

causality from the past is only HALF the story- the Cosmic Singularity must be by definition a feedback loop- so it's recursive action is fed forward and BACK through itself like any feedback loop - the regular and slow evolution of form comes from the past to the future- but the punctuated and accelerating events of CREATIVITY such as the formation of galaxy seeds in the early universe- the folding of proteins in just the right way- explosions of radical new bioforms- the emergence of intelligence/language- and the the accelerating but periodic renaissances toward a technological singularity would be the feedback from "the future" [or 'forward' to where the end of time wraps back to the beginning] reshaping the evolution of the cosmic wavefunction- Causality doesn't work in just one direction in a self-reflexive closed topology that the cosmic singularity must posses
